Well, I just recently tried out filevault on my iBook and, I must say, that I do not like it. When you enable FV, you cannot spotlight search for your files. However, I do not know how good it is at actually protecting your stuff. What i would suggest is that you create a "Secret Project" account, then, enable filevault on that account. BEWARE: Filevault takes a LONG time to enable/disable. I suggest you do it at night. Hope this helps MacTipper
