This is stupid. The police are doing what they do best. Keep the Peace. When you have idiots that take their peaceful demonstration a little too far by not cooperating with the Police now you are a criminal. Criminals need to be beat. It's the only way. I was there, poor and employed. You can't move one bike out of the way in a swarm of hundreds, everyone would fall over sideways. So many of us there hitched or took the greyhound in and stayed on the floors of dorms and studio apartments.
