piasso2769 ::: Favorites The one who said shyt about rugby or cricket must be totally ... ignorant.. these games are actually played throughout the world unlike the american way of sport which so called say "WORLD CHAMPIONS" But they play in their own continent and compete with themselves.... 07-09-22 05:44:41 __________________________________________________
L0C85 ::: Favorites Two entirely different games. Why do people keep insisting these silly comparisons? I mean Rugby and Cricket? Come on! 07-09-21 04:02:07 __________________________________________________
slyguysach ::: Favorites yes usually the bowlers bounce the while bowling although there is no such rule... bowlers take the advantage of the one bounce allowed to either spin or escalate the hieght of the ball on its way to the batsman.... however 2 bounces are not allowed 07-09-21 01:45:57 __________________________________________________
jonkarl91 ::: Favorites When you bowl, do you have to bounce it? 07-09-20 23:17:04 __________________________________________________

ocpensfan ::: Favorites Thank you. I think I get it enough now to at least semi-intelligently watch a match. Now if I can just find a place where I can see it in the States. 07-08-22 20:08:31 __________________________________________________
barhos ::: Favorites A bowler has to bowl 6 balls in an over but if he bowls a wide or noball then an extra ball for each wide/noball. The batter may or may not hit all the balls and may or may not run after hitting. A run is completed when the batter crosses over to the other end (read runner's end) and the runner on the other end crosses over to the batter's side. An extra one run is added to the score if a bowler bowls a noball or a wide ball. 07-08-22 07:37:31 __________________________________________________
ocpensfan ::: Favorites Thanks. Makes it easier to follow a game when you know what you're looking at. If a bowler throws 6 balls to a batter is that it for the batter? Is that an over and the batter is done? 07-08-17 18:43:08 __________________________________________________
reggieschuey ::: Favorites The batter does not need to run after he hits the ball, he can defend the wicket all day and not run (which makes the game really really boring, often happens when the ball swings alot) Second question , 1 run is counted when the two batsmen cross over. As long as the two batter pass each other it is counted 1 run. ie if they run pass each other twice then its two runs, so forth. 07-08-17 02:45:16 __________________________________________________ |
