Not4Games ::: Favorites  2007-10-14 02:50:25 I don't like the new raspiness in her voice, I wish she would take some of that weight off, it's affecting her vocals, so sorry to say this, but I'm a diehard Chaka fan, but this just doesn't cut it for me, I'm hoping she's not having issues with her vocal cords again, I'm leaning into thinking it's a weight issue. __________________________________________________
paddeyOmalley ::: Favorites  2007-10-14 18:42:53 some like it and some dont.. for me i like the raspiness in her voice now..it adds some funky edge and maturity to the funk album..and i do think that it is Chaka's idea to add the extra grunt and growl in her vocals..you know Chaka, she likes to experiment on her vocal styling..i dont think her weight has got anything to do with her vocals..its her smoking habit that affects it somehow but im thankful that she has still retained that gargantuan vocal range of hers. __________________________________________________
